Before reading Desirable Power, I’d heard a variation of the phrase, ‘Are you living or just surviving?’, and it never resonated much with me. The thing is that sometimes we become so caught up with doing the things that we feel we must be doing, that we can forget the difference between living and surviving. Desirable Power has taught me all about how our choices and decisions are primarily based on what we feel, how our feelings dictate who we associate with, how our tastes are influenced etc.
Another thing that that was discussed by the author that I liked, was that there is always a reason behind why we like something, even if we don’t know what that particular reason is. I find this to be very true and interesting.
Desirable power is a great read. I would recommend it to anyone of any age that is looking for some deeper meaning in their life or even to those that are not sure what they’re looking for as yet.
